7月4日，广州科学城九大国家级产业基地园区揭牌仪式举行。涉及电子信息、软件服务外包、金融、物流、生物医药、环保、新材料、工业设计、动漫等高科技和现代服务业的首批30个项目正式入驻，而截至目前，已有91家企业签约落户。同日，生物、信息、服务外包等九家级产业基地园区揭牌，同时，国家级开发区中唯一的和谐劳动关系工业园区也挂牌。
